Picture
Hazaribagh is one of the most important districts in the state of Jharkhand, India. It's situated at an altitude of 2,019 Ft and was a popular health resort in British India and in former Bihar. Its a large district with an average township which in turns attributes to the presence of forest in the majority of its area. Due to ignorant behaviour of Jharkhand government, the place is losing even its remaining sheen.

This website is a private initiative to recall those lost nature lovers and tourists who once had made Hazaribagh a paradise in those old happy days and consequently make the state aware of the developing possibilities of a healthy tourism.

We hope that through this website, you consider Hazaribagh as an option for your next tour destination!

_ACCESSIBILITY

TOURING HAZARIBAGH

Best way to tour Hazaribagh is to hire a private car with an experienced driver with good knowledge of local places and villages. A good driver adds to the whole experience of exploring 'the land of thousand gardens'.

Almost all the drivers know about Konar Dam, Tilaiya Dam, Salparni, Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary, Urban Haat, Hazaribagh Lake, Canary Hill and also a few places of religious importance such as Rajrappa (Ramgarh dist. 80 km from Hazaribagh) and Itkhori (Chatra dist. 30 km from Hazaribagh). Visiting Isko and Barso Pani can get tricky because not every driver and even people are aware of these places.
